We commit to conduct an intimate workplace for employees as they commit their valuable time and contribution here with CoAsia. In personal life timeline, we promise care for marriage, maternity, emergency aids and memorial service. From time to time, there are social activities of different interests as a way to balance work and life. A Welfare Committee was established on June 3, 2002 to manage employee benefits with activities such as family sports day, local tour, overseas travel, happy hours, festival party, art events and exhibitions, drama or movie invitations. Whenever there is a need, or a chance, in connection with charity organization, we will link employee benefit program with charity extended to people, or villages, who need recognition and income. This is an attitude of benefit planning and management we commit to our employees and the society we all live in.

1.Diversified Employee Benefits
We provide various benefit items, including festival (Dragon Festival, Moon Festival) bonus, birthday gifts, retirement bonus, new books allowance, free art ticketing, parking fee allowance, mobile fee allowance, transportation for business allowance and health check-up allowance. Besides, there are local tours and social activities to ease work intensity.

We provide both labor and national health insurance in compliance of national requirements. For more cares we would like to protect employees, every year we screen and manage the group insurance package in terms of life insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital medical insurance, cancer insurance and liability insurance to ensure the policy of insurance update and complete.

2. Learning and Development
We believe learning and development is important. There are internal and external training policy and practices.

For internal trainings, at the first day of new employee, HR will arrange an orientation to introduce company vision, mission and value, history, millstone, business achievement, market status, and operational environment. New employee will have a clear office tour to learn the workplace. As for professional knowledge, industrial trend, market savvy, we will arrange seminars, workshop at hoc.

For external trainings, employees may measure his/her knowledge, competency gap for the contribution expected to apply for external trainings in need. Vise versa, managers may assign team members for valuable trainings.

3. Retirement and Pension
We have adopted the competent authority’s new pension system to contribute 6% of individual’s monthly wage to the personal pension account. If employees intend to contribute more ratio of wages to personal pension account, we may help to do it on monthly basis.

4. Employee Relationships
A transparent communication contributes to employee engagement. We have internal portal for employees to browse company latest news, new colleagues, monthly birthday stars, and some company events/tours/activities pictures. On the company website, we have published an email address of BOD Supervisor so that employees, shareholders, stakeholders may feel free to uncover their concerns or interests. We have semi-annual performance interview and may learn any development needs from employees and managers. As for new employee, we will sit down with him/her to review his/her landing in CoAsia; if there is a need for a mentor guidance, we surely will arrange it.

Management team has a weekly meeting to discuss company governance and exchange concerns and solutions for higher company achievement. We strive to comply with national labor law and requirements, such as extra overtime pay or substitute offs. To protect gender equality, we promote and implement the policy in line with Act of Gender Equality in Employment and Sexual Harassment Prevention Act.
