HUMAN RIGHTS PRINCIPLES

Human Rights Statement

(Approved by Board of Directors on the date of November 12, 2018.)

CoAsia Electrics Corp. (CoAsia Electrics, or, we) is part of technology development that we understand how information technology will impact and drive people life experiences. With this statement, we declare our belief, position and attitude to communicate with the world about the way we respect and promote human rights with actions.





  • Simple Belief

    We recognize a business has the responsibility to respect and protect human rights. In line with UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we strive to promote and educate human rights knowledge and solutions with employees, customers, suppliers, and keep paying attentions to anything we can contribute. We agree and support the guideline from Universal Declaration of Human Rights and expect our stakeholders, including, not limited of, employees, partners, and customers live in a fair place.

  • Diversity and Inclusion

    We believe and treasure the power from connections with diversity and inclusion. We strive to provide equal opportunities and suspend any discrimination and harassment. Any distinction on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity by oral or physical behaviors will be seriously examined. The way we implement recruiting, staffing, relocation, compensation, promotion, progression, training and development all depends on the individual’s knowledge, profession, capability, experience and performance record for evaluation. We do not allow any violations of human rights in any decision making for operations.

  • Community Engagement

    We understand we are part of the globe village. We will connect with different communities, including poor and disadvantaged households, to ensure a mutual communication and understanding happens in our business activities. We will learn and consider different point of views from diversified communities to demonstrate our respects toward the nature and the humanity with any assistance or supports we are able to contribute.

  • Respect Disadvantaged Group

    To fulfill our commitment on human rights respect, we promote equality and inclusion in research and development, business activities and occupational opportunity for special care of children, women and the disabled. Elimination of Forced or Compulsory Labor, Human Trafficking and Child Labor We refuse any forms of forced labor, including prison labor, bonded labor, military labor, slave labor and any trafficking relevant resource. We do not permit any manpower resources from child labor under age 18.

  • Freedom of Association

    We respect that employees establish and join organizations of their own choosing without previous authorization. If employees attend any labor organization to defend their interests, we will open the door to conduct an open communication in order to develop a win-win workplace for the company.

  • Safe and Health Workplace

    We strive to provide decent and safe working conditions. We ensure to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and company policy to eliminate or reduce risks and prohibit any harassment, threats, violence and any other hazardous conditions.

  • Legal Working Conditions

    We respect national labor laws to provide legal working conditions. We provide for working standards of a decent living for workers and their families with compensation and benefits, legal working hours, with a full 24-hour day of rest; a specified number of annual paid leave days; and minimum conditions for the protection of the safety and health of workers.

  • Employee Opinions

    We are committed to conduct an open communication workplace in line with national labor regulation and policy. If employees have concerns or opinions about this statement or reflections to the organization, it is open to contact local management team, Human Resources staffs or legal staffs. We will take actions to investigate and respond. Employees may offer their inputs to whistle-blow any misconducts against the statement and we will protect whistleblowers’ right to work and demonstrate our culture of ethics and transparency.

  • Information Security

    We have managed to monitor relevant application system design and maintenance as well as database, internet, personal computer, server to prevent any data tempering, theft, crash, loss or leakage. We ensure to protect human rights and privacy through safe information security for our employees, customers and suppliers in data retrieving, processing, transmission, storage. The ultimate goal of information security is the security for both individual and the community.

  • Obligation and Responsibility

    We are obliged to fulfill the responsibility to protect human rights. We develop or revise management policy and procedures, including yet not restricted in proposing or revising human right statement, measurement of the impact on human rights by business operation activities and management. We design the process to investigate human rights violations and do regular review of human rights statement implementation. It is our culture to provide stakeholders transparent information about the labor rights and regulations in overseas business operations.

  • Approval and Revision

    The Board of Directors is authoritative to approve the statement, or further revision.

  • Passage and correction

    This Policy Statement has been adopted by the Board of Directors and subsequently amended.
